With the help of eXpect
Theatre, this work group engaged the local
community in a storytelling initiative that
saw over 65 local residents share their stories
and impressions of Rexdale in an online documentary
titled Rexdale
Voices. This documentary premiered to
well over 120 community members as part of
Canada's Multicultural Day celebration.
Additionally, this work group has worked hard
to support the enhancement of local arts,
culture and recreational services including
the expansion of the Franklin Carmichael Arts
Centre, the viability of youth theatre productions
and the enhancement of local community centers.
